Generates a shield around the vehicle that prevents radiation damage within itself, both to the car and the Driver. Using dual Ion Shields has no noticeable benefits. Allen Turner is a side character in Pacific Drive.

He married [[Oppy|Doctor Ophelia Turner]] when he was 22 and was also involved in [[ARDA|ARDA's]] Research and Development department.<ref name="Frequency File #6, Part 2">[[Frequency File#Frequency File #6, Part 2|Frequency File #5, Part 2]]</ref>

===History===
During his time working for ARDA, he worked alongside [[James Cay|Dr. James Cay]] in a highly classified site in the [[Olympic Exclusion Zone#Deep Zone|Deep Zone]] to research [[The Well]]. <ref name="Mass Hallucinations">[[Transmission: Mass Hallucinations|Mass Hallucinations]] transmission.</ref> He most notably created a suppression technique for gamma-ray eruptions caused by close proximity of a [[Remnant]] to the Well.<ref name="Keep Going">[[Transmission: The Reports#Keep Going|Keep Going]] transmission.</ref>

He did not discuss his work with Oppy, nor she with him.<ref name="Allen's Work">[[Transmission: Red Meadow Research Facility#Allen's Work|Allen's Work]] transmission.</ref>

The alloys we're using now, combined with the new standard frequencies, mean nothing's going to be chewing up our broadcasts any more.
